We believe in choosing materials with care—favoring cotton, linen, and other natural fibers whenever possible, and embracing small, intentional runs over mass production. While not every piece can meet every ideal, each item is selected with thoughtfulness, balancing beauty, function, and a growing commitment to more mindful sourcing, including supporting makers closer to home when we can.

How does shipping work?

All items from The Pleasant Collector are made to order, meaning each piece is thoughtfully created just for you after your purchase.

Because items may ship from different studio partners, orders with multiple pieces may arrive in separate packages. Shipping is calculated at checkout to reflect your unique order.

Orders over $99 ship free within the U.S.

Production and shipping times may vary slightly depending on the item, but most orders are processed and shipped within a few business days. Once your order ships, you’ll receive tracking information so you can follow it on its way to you.

Why did my order arrive in separate packages?

Some items may ship separately.

We work with multiple print providers depending on the product type, which means your order may be fulfilled from different locations. If you ordered more than one item, they may arrive in separate packages and at slightly different times.

Don’t worry—this is completely normal for print-on-demand orders, and you’ll receive tracking information for each shipment.

What is print-on-demand?

The Pleasant Collector uses a print-on-demand (POD) model.

This means we don’t keep pre-made inventory. Instead, your item is printed and created specifically for you once your order is placed.

This approach helps reduce waste, avoids overproduction, and allows us to offer a wider variety of designs without mass production.

Because each item is made to order, small variations may occur, but we always aim for high-quality results you’ll love.

What is your return policy?

Because all items are made to order, we are generally unable to accept returns or exchanges for size, color, or change-of-mind purchases.

However, if your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we will absolutely make it right.

If there is an issue with your order, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and photos if applicable, and we’ll work with you to resolve it.

My tracking hasn’t updated—what should I do?

Tracking information can sometimes take a few days to update after shipping.

If your order was shipped from a fulfillment partner, it may also take time to scan into the carrier’s system.

If your tracking hasn’t updated for several business days, feel free to reach out and we’ll help look into it.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Because orders begin processing quickly after they are placed, we are only able to make changes or cancellations within a very short window.

If you need to request a change, please contact us as soon as possible after ordering, and we’ll do our best to help.

Who do I contact if I have a problem with my order?

Please include your order number and a brief description of the issue so we can help you as quickly as possible.

We genuinely want you to love what you receive, and we’re always here to help if something goes wrong.

What if my order hasn’t arrived?

Most orders arrive within the estimated shipping timeframe provided at checkout, but occasionally delays can happen once a package is with the carrier.

If your order has not arrived within 30 days of placing your order, please reach out to us right away so we can help investigate.

For print-on-demand orders, we are only able to file a claim for a refund or replacement within 7 days after the 30-day delivery window has passed. After that time, the order is considered outside the eligible claim period.

Because of this, we strongly recommend contacting us as soon as you notice any shipping issues so we can resolve them as quickly as possible.

What materials do you use? Are your products sustainable?

At The Pleasant Collector, we aim to use materials that feel good, last well, and are as mindful as possible.

Wherever we can, we choose natural or lower-impact materials such as cotton and other responsibly sourced fibers. Because each item is made to order through a print-on-demand model, we’re also able to reduce waste by avoiding mass production and excess inventory.

That said, not every product in the shop is produced the same way.

Some items—such as select apparel pieces—are sourced through trusted partner vendors and platforms like Shopify Collective. These products are pre-designed by independent makers and imported for resale in our shop. We only choose items that feel aligned with the quality and aesthetic of The Pleasant Collector, but they are not designed in-house.

Across everything we offer, our goal is to be intentional about what we bring into the shop and transparent about how it’s made.
