I wanted to take a moment to talk a little bit about something that’s been evolving behind the scenes: pricing and shipping.
One of the challenges I ran into with my previous shop was how quickly shipping costs could add up. Because many of the items come from different manufacturers and partners, each piece often ships separately—and that can mean multiple shipping fees on a single order. It’s something I’ve never loved, especially because it creates a checkout experience that feels unpredictable and, at times, a bit overwhelming.
As I’ve been rebuilding and refining this shop, I’ve been thinking a lot about how to make that experience simpler and more transparent.
To help with that, I’ll be gradually adjusting product pricing so I can move toward a more unified, flat-rate shipping model. The goal is to reduce those unexpected shipping totals at checkout and make it easier to understand the true cost of an order upfront.
This isn’t about increasing prices for the sake of it—it’s about redistributing costs in a way that feels more balanced and easier to navigate. When items ship from different places, those costs still exist, but I’d rather fold more of that into the product pricing so shipping feels consistent and predictable instead of variable and confusing.
It’s a small structural shift, but one I hope makes a meaningful difference in how the shop feels to browse and buy from.
As always, I’m learning as I go and trying to make decisions that improve both the experience and the integrity of what I’m building here. Thank you for being patient with those changes as they roll out.
