The Pleasant Collector started from a gap I kept running into.
As an adult collector, I realized there weren’t many products that felt like they were actually made for me. Most things leaned overly young or overly generic, nothing that really reflected the thought, nostalgia, and meaning that collecting holds.
I wanted pieces that felt intentional. Something that could exist in everyday life while still quietly honoring the stories behind what we collect.
At the same time, I’ve always loved graphic design (and it's my day job.) The process of taking an idea, a feeling, or a memory and turning it into something visual and tangible is just something I enjoy. The Pleasant Collector became the place where those two parts of my life met.
Every design is created with that balance in mind:
something rooted in the past, but made to be used now.
